I used this to try and charge an old Lithium battery for my lawn mower (40 volts). I was able to adjust it to put out exactly 40volts. I tested it (imput) with regular 12volt adaptor then tried hooking it up with a 12 volt car battery charger. Both worked fine - didn't overheat and it produced 40 volts dc output (I checked it with my volt meter.). Great product for the price.
I'm using this to boost 12 volts up to 20 volts for a sound amplifier. I built my own Bluetooth speaker system. I wanted to use a simple lithium 12v power bank to run it. It works well! I was worried that it would add buzzing to the amp, but it didn't. Very happy with this device!
Bought it as an audio 48V phantom power supply to add to a mic preamp. Works perfectly for my application. It is small enough to fit in the existing chassis of the preamp.
Very good product. Works well. Fed it a 9 vdc battery and output was 48 vdc rock steady even loaded with 1k resistor. Built a phone line simulator with it. Only down side is input is not isolated from output. Both share the b- input ground. So that’s why 4 stars
