I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of this type of item.

The card was delivered promptly aided by my being a prime member.

The packaging is NOT easy to open and you WILL need cutting tool of your choice.

The card fits into all devices the same way. This went into my three year old granddaughters LCD camera.

She has already taken pictures and movies.

Stored on the card and transferred to my Apple laptop.

OVERALL it represents decent value at thi price as it is delivered and saves a couple of pounds when compared to the cost for exact same item in my local shops.

1. This memory card has the Lowest Price among all the other 16 gb cards available in the market.
2. I have been using it for 2 years, and it's still performing great. So, it's hopefully very Long-Lasting.
3. Amazon is providing this memory card at a very Low Price (due to the Great offers & discounts)

Cons:
1. Transferring Speed is slow.
2. Due to slow speed, it does not support 4K videos.

Sandisk is one of the most Trusted & Popular companies for storage devices in the world. This product by them is also Good. I was fully satisfied with this memory card at this low price. You can undoubtedly go for this product within this Budget.

SanDisk, my primary memory card choice

SanDisk are my go to brand when it comes to memory cards.

Whilst this 16GB class 4 is not the fastest card, for the money it offers good value and additional storage space.

Used in smartphones I own it works perfectly well.

Over the years I have owned many memory cards the vast majority of which are SanDisk.

Due to my line of work I get through memory cards quicker than most, but the failure rate with any from SanDisk has been better than some other brands I have used. The returns and replacement procedure for cards in warranty is a bit of a hassle if you use cards on virtually a daily basis and by the time you have logged the issue, done all the necessary steps required and sent it back it is not worth it in my opinion. Despite this I continue to use SanDisk as on the whole they offer good value for money.

First poor item from Sandisk

Paid a quid more than cheapest reseller and purchased this direct from Amazon (to be sure of not getting a copy). Still, super slow write speed though. Says class 4 on it, but i have another Sandisk class 2 (8gb) Micro SDHC card, that must be 2 years old, and that writes at 8.5 MB/Per Sec. I'm moving 11 gigs of AVCHD camera shot video to this 16gig class 4 it as I'm typing this and getting about 4.8 (so 35 minutes + for 11 gigs) so about half the write speed of the class 2?? How can they have a class system for SD media and seemingly not be forced to guaranteed speeds that correspond to the number? At this price, i'd be happy with the old class 2 - 8.5 mbs speed, but in 2012, sub 5mbs is not what I would expect from a great brand like Sandisk.

I bought the Sandisk memory card as it was to increase the memory on my recently purchased Sansa Fuze which is also made by Sandisk. I haven't actually started to use this part of the memory yet as the Fuze already has an 8gb internal memory. But will be used when I download some of my photos. Product arrived in good time and well packaged. A little too well packaged as it was quite difficult to break in even with the use of some scissors. Nevertheless, I suppose better too well packaged than vice versa. Just a comment in case anyone needs a holder to go with the memory card, mine didn't come with one but as I didn't need it that wasn't a problem. Happy to award 5 stars despite packaging.
