It was not secured in the box, which was a shame, as I bought it as a gift. It was just rolling in its box. The image showed boxed with ribbon. Which looked neat & presentable.
The brushed silver look was ok with gold clip detail but it just seemed light weight.
The engraving of the Parker name was very poor. The pen was apparently made in France. I have decided to return this for refund. It was just not nice enough for a gift.
My dad used to have Parker and I recall them being far better quality & heavier.
You will get what you pay for.
Looking at other photos another purchaser also commented about the brand logo too being poorly inscribed.
I saw this after. But totally agree.
Seller does take their time to respond. They refunded.
Quality of pen is not worth the price. If you are going to pay £10+ for a pen you would expect a heavy and not hollow steel pen. Not sellers fault just the Parker pen is over priced.
It's comfortable to write with, and the ink flows in a smooth manner - with a medium sized point. If you're after a reliable and well-made pen, I fully recommend this item. The refills are reasonably priced.
I am a massive fan of Parker pens and in particular the jotter. Its just such a pleasant pen to write with and is such a reasonable price you get the use of a high quality pen for the price of a fancy bic!
Mine was accompanied by a Medium fill Blue ink. For a lot of people their work will require black ink so I think an option of selecting ink preference would be nice. Also I'm a fan of Fine nib so all the more reason to offer variety in this department.
I am very happy with my purchase and when I inevitably loose this pen I will be straight back to buy its replacement.
EDIT: I've been using this pen for Two Months and written well over Five-Hundred A5 pages, plus extra notes here and there with it. The pen is going strong, so are my fingers and the ink that came with it is not showing any signs of running out.
